How To Set Up Custom Values In ProspectFlow

Custom Values are a really easy way of re-using certain pieces of information throughout ProspectFlow.

 

For example, you can add your company phone number as a Custom Value and then use the 'key' anywhere that you'd like to display your phone number throughout your emails, funnels, text messages, and so on.

 

This may seem like an unnecessary extra step, but what if your phone number changes in the future?

 

Do you really want to update it across your hundreds of email and text message automation? Or would you rather update a single Custom Value and have it update everywhere else automatically? 
 
Custom Values can be used in many different ways, with this example being a simple demonstration of their benefits. This article will show you how to set them up.

 

  1. First, navigate to "Settings".
  2. Click on "Custom Values".
  3. Select the pencil icon next to the custom value you'd like to edit and assign the appropriate value.
  4. Click "Save" and copy the "key" for use throughout your funnels, emails, text messages, etc.
    • For the "Phone: Smart Number In Link Form" custom value, use this code:
       
      <a href="tel:[Your Smart Phone Number]">[Your Smart Phone Number]</a>
       
      (Replace [Your Smart Phone Number] with the smart phone number you purchased in ProspectFlow)

 

If you need to create a new custom value that we haven't already provided, simply click "Add Custom Value", give it a suitable name, and assign a value.
