How To Migrate From An Existing CRM Into ProspectFlow

The purpose of moving your contacts over to ProspectFlow is to simplify your business process and make it easier to set up automations based on your contact activities.

There are typically two scenarios when it comes to importing contacts from an existing CRM to ProspectFlow.

• Importing contacts from CRMs with pipelines such as Close, PipeDrive, Hubspot, Trello, and Monday.
• Importing contacts from CRMs without pipelines such as Activecampaign and Mailchimp.

We will discuss the steps involved in migrating from an existing CRM to ProspectFlow.

Actions Steps

1. Download the contacts from your CRM
   • If you have an existing pipeline in your previous CRM, download each stage of the pipeline into individual CSV files. For example, if you have contacts in the “Lead Stage” of the pipeline, download them as a CSV file and if you have contacts in the “Closed Deal Stage”, download them as a separate CSV file. It is important to export the tags as well.
     • Recreate the pipeline and the stages in Prospectflow using the information provided in this article.
   • If you don't have an existing pipeline, simply export the contacts from your existing CRM as a CSV file.
2. To import the contacts into ProspectFlow, go to the dashboard and click “Contacts” from the menu on the left.
3. Click the “import contacts” icon from the menu at the top of the contact page.
4. Import the CSV file and map the fields from the CSV file to the respective fields in ProspectFlow and click “Save”.
5. If you have an existing pipeline, add the contacts from each stage you downloaded in step one to the respective pipeline stage by selecting all the contacts you just imported and clicking the "Pipeline" icon from the top menu. Then, select the pipeline and stage to which you want to add the contacts.
