How To Setup A Facebook Advertising Account

This guide will show you exactly how to set up your Facebook Advertising Account for the first time. 

Creating Your Business Account

1. Go to business.facebook.com/overview
2. Click "Create an Account"
   
3. Sign in to your Facebook Account
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your Business Account

Adding A Payment Method

1. Click "Business Settings", and then "Payment Methods"
2. Click "Add Payment Method"
3. Assign yourself as the Finance Editor
4. Enter your preferred payment details, and click "Next"

Creating Your Ad Account

1. In the left-hand menu, click "Ad Accounts"
2. Click "Add", and then "Create a new Ad Account"
3. Give your Ad Account a suitable name
4. Click "Add People" and grant yourself access to "Manage Campaigns"

Uploading Your Audience List

1. In the left-hand menu, click "Audiences"
2. Click "Create Audience", and select "Custom Audience"
3. Select "Customer List", and upload a CSV file of your existing customers
4. Ensure that all customer data is mapped correctly
5. Give your audience a suitable name
