How To Connect Your Domain To ProspectFlow
Connecting your domain name with your ProspectFlow account will allow you to also connect it with the Funnels in your account. You can either use your Root Domain (website.com) or a Sub Domain (go.website.com).
Note: if you already have a website hosted elsewhere it is worth double-checking any changes to your DNS, before saving them, to avoid your current website inadvertently going offline.
Configuring Your Domain In ProspectFlow
-
Login to your account with PropsectFlow.
- Click "Settings" in the bottom-left corner.
- Click "Domains" in the side menu, on the left.
- Click the "Add New Domain" button, in the top right.
- Type the domain name (or sub-domain) you wish to use.
- Make a note of the A and CNAME records (or leave this window open).
Configuring Your Domain In Your Domain Registrar
-
Login to your Domain Registrar (GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, etc).

If You're Using The 'A Record'

if you are using a sub-domain (such as go.website.com), you will want to enter 'go' in the host/name field. - You will then want to enter 34.68.234.4 in the value field.
If You're Using The 'CNAME Record'
-
If you're adding your root domain, you will want to use the @ symbol in the host/name field;
if you are using a sub-domain (such as go.website.com), you will want to enter 'go' in the host/name field. - You will then want to enter flash.funnels.msgsndr.com in the value field.
Does It Matter Which Record I Use?
In short, no! Some domain registrars will handle DNS records differently.

You can try either or both at the same time. If you experience any issues with one, you may decide to try the other.

We'd recommend also checking your domain across devices and in different browsers, as well as clearing your cache on your current device/browser after making any DNS changes, to check that it is working as expected.
